Capi Europe

Capi Europe designs and produces planters for indoor and outdoor use. There is a planter for everyone, thanks to our variety of styles and textures. Part of our production takes place completely CO2 neutral in our own factory in Tilburg, The Netherlands. Besides their special design, our planters are of high quality. They are lightweight – despite their robust exterior – and weather-resistant.

Planters for your home, garden, or balcony. For every plant and every style. All planters have their unique design and are available in various colors and shapes.

First Flowerpot with CO2 Neutral® Label

The Made in Holland flower pots from Capi Europe are produced in a 100% climate-neutral process. You can recognize them by their orange-colored interior. Most importantly, they are also incredibly beautiful, making them a perfect addition to your interior, garden, balcony, or terrace.

Each model from the Made in Holland collection has its own characteristic texture. While they have a robust appearance, they are surprisingly lightweight. This is, of course, very convenient. Additionally, they are extremely durable and have a long lifespan, with each flowerpot coming with a ten-year guarantee. The collection includes more than twenty models in seven different colors.

The CO2 Neutral® Label

The CO2 Neutral® label ensures that companies awarded this label actively assess, reduce, and offset their local and global climate impact. Unlike 'greenwashing', this label can only be obtained through serious, demonstrable environmental efforts. The label is awarded by the independent association Vinçotte.

Our CO2 Neutral certificate can be found.

Project Zambia

For its climate compensation, Capi Europe is participating in the COMACO Landscape Management Project, which promotes sustainable agriculture and forest conservation in Zambia. The key objectives of the project are to reduce uncontrolled deforestation and increase net forest cover. This project contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

History

Capi Europe products must be honest and grow with the customer, just like our company. In 1997, Toine van de Ven started a one-man business in Udenhout, a small village in the Dutch province of Brabant. He produced concrete statues and ornaments with great pleasure. The business took a significant leap from tiny Udenhout to the vast Asian market. His entrepreneurial spirit soon led Toine to import heavy terrazzo from Vietnam, and he always ensured that his customers didn't have to lift the heavy products themselves.

Optimistic people have the courage to think ahead. Toine transformed the look and feel of his heavy flower pots into lightweight versions with various textures. Through his service, honesty, and innovation, Toine made Capi one of the most original European companies in the flower pot industry. Progress is embedded in Capi Europe's DNA. We continue to be future-driven, always thinking and working in innovative ways, but grounded in our long experience. Our story, and that of Toine, is just beginning.
