GrillGrate officially launched in 2007, but its story began earlier when founders Brad and Susan met in high school and grilled together for the first time. They used an old barbecue that Brad's father had given them. Needing new grill components, they came up with the idea for GrillGrate. What started as a small family business in America has since grown into a global company, known for innovative BBQ accessories and solutions for every grill, including the kamado.
